suresh: I got your email from a online wedsite, thank you for your explanation of exporting statues. The confusion is that in Tamilnadu statues are available in all states and tourist and vistor can purchase them easily. The constrain is to take it past customs, The officials have no idea on the regulation of the size,material or make of the items, they just block the items from leaving. How can we regulate the sales of items of such to ease tourist purchases? Being a Malaysia hindu we would like to bring back our hindu vigrams for worship but finding it a constrain to understand the regulation law of India.
