We have downloaded the eBRC data from DGFT website and there is a column for utilization status. Status are mainly – Used and available. Would be really great if you could explain what is the meaning of that.

RAJINDER MATHUR: NOT ABLE TO DOWNLOAD EBRC FOR THE EXPORTS SENT WITHOUT CUSTOM DUTY

drishti: We just had a look at your blog and got your email contact from their. We are a small establishment selling online through Amazon in USA and Canada. We are facing some difficulty in obtaining eBRC from our bank as they have never handled an ecommerce exporter and are not able to grasp the process. Can we connect with you in order to discuss? Looking forward for your revert,

mirza: Hello, I'm a member of Amazon FBA. I need to take my goods to Amazon Germany warehouse. My goods are stuck at the German customs. A firm must pull my goods as an importer. Then I can send my goods to amazon germany warehouse via DHL. As an importer company, would you play a role in this business? Thank you.

nishith: I read your articles on internet and they are very helpful. I am writing this mail to you as I have a query regarding FIRC and BRC. So I am a dropshipper, I stay in India but I don’t sell in India. I just purchase product from USA and sell to UK online. So my payment gateway, they do issue me FIRC for every transaction but do I have to issue BRC then from the bank? As I am a dropshipper, I don’t require IEC code nor I can avail any related benefits with DGFT, so still I need to close my FIRC, which is by issuing BRC from bank?

eran: I found your information online, we were asked to provide value evidence, through an SVB report. BIS (PO, BRC (BANK REMITTENCE COPY) OR NET PRICE and technical write up (product specification) for a shipment we made to India (Hyderabad) from San Francisco. They are random home decoration items (6 of them) needed for software development (we are infusing the objects with augmented reality mobile applications) and our development team is in India.Do we need any particular forms to successfully respond to the query below or should we just provide receipts in an email format?

rahul: We made payment against import material through Paypal. We received the material, customs duty is paid against Bill of Entry. Now issue is how to settle the import payment ? Bank says you made payment through Paypal we can't settle this payment. What is the way forward?

williams: I would like to know some of the products you currently stock with their prices. I would be happy to make my payment by credit card if you accept them. They will be shipped overseas to one of our location ORG in Santorini Cyclades 84700 and don’t worry if you don’t have INT shipping experience, I would recommend you to one of our shippers that handles everything including paperwork. I will be expecting the prices so I will advise the qty we would need. This order is not for resale. I await your reply. You can be able to reach me via Email

anirudh: I was reading your articles about Export Norms and was very impressed with the way you have explained each and every detail. I would like to thank you for this effort, it has helped many people like me understand export-import in a detailed and better way. That said, I would like to ask you a certain question - since I am new in the field of exports. Would be great if you could help me on the same! I am currently selling small value goods globally (Avg SP in dollars USD 50) and receive money via PayPal in Rupees (not in dollars - Paypal account receives in dollars and rupees get transferred to my bank) . I read that no BRC is needed in your blog - just would like to confirm the same once for my scenario. Also - new draft e-commerce policy wants to do away with BRC, may be they realised it is not needed? Would like your thoughts. Look forward to your support

bobby: We have read your article and are posing this query as we are in a bit of a pickle We had advanced $10000 to a Vietnam client for some goods. However he has only dispatched goods worth $5000 and is now closed his company. After a lot of pressure he has agreed to return our balance but can only give cash as his bank account is in some legal problem. Can we accept cash from him and how to inform bank etc in this process

PRASAD: I'm a granite exporter from Andhra Pradesh. As there is good boom in the construction industry of Syria since from March 2018, I got good clients over there and exporting since from then. I should submit eBRC to our CTO office for claiming the GST paid on transportation and customs clearance of our export shipments, they are asking eBRC along with other required documents, but no bank is accepting the documents of those shipments to Syria. In actual I received the funds from Dubai and Turkey which are their sister concerned companies/3rd party. This is becoming so horrible with the banks as most of my exports are to Syria, Yemen & Iraq for which banks are not accepting the documents.
