What is Express Release Bill of Lading?

You can advise your carrier to issue an “Express Release Bill of Lading”. Means, once after completion of customs clearance, your appointed customs broker can send Bill of lading instructions to the shipping company (carrier) and he issues one copy of Bill of Lading to you and in turn to their counterpart in final destination. Means, an electronic data copy of ‘express bill of lading’ is sufficient for the carrier in final destination to release the cargo to final consignee mentioned in the Bill of Lading. After import custom clearance at destination your buyer approaches the carrier to deliver the cargo to him. The carrier, after verifying the necessary identity, delivers cargo to your buyer

amb: On 08 July 2022 I have been reading your blogs and articles on your website and I have found them to be very informative and helpful. I am indenting agent and I have broker a deal for which I would like to have information on the subjected situation. I have given My client (importer) scan copies of shipment documents that I received it from the supplier (exporter).However as per supplier they are unable to get original BL copy from shipping line because of which they have not send hard copies of shipment documents to my clients. It would be very helpful if you can spare your precious time and advice me in getting a solution and steps that I Should take.Shipment has arrived just before 2 days at destination port.
