26/2011-Customs, dated 01.03.2011 is valid when introduction of GST in India on July 01, 2017 for exemption of IGST on imports.
As per Customs notification number 26/2011 dt. 01.03.2011, duty is exempted to (a) Works of art including statuary and pictures intended for public exhibition in a museum or art gallery; (b) Works of art namely memorials of a public character intended to be put up in a public place including, materials used or to be used in their construction, whether worked or not; (c) Antiques intended for public exhibition in a public museum or national institution.
As per GST Law, IGST is exempted on goods specified under Customs notification number 26/2011 dt. 01.03.2011.
