DAP vs DPU, based on Inco terms of delivery of movement of goods.
Delivered at Place Unloaded Vs. Delivered At Place
DAP explains as Delivered at Place followed by a named location where goods are delivered by seller to buyer as per contract of carriage. DPU elaborates as delivered goods to the named place by unloading by seller.
The major difference between DAP and DPU is that the unloading responsibility. Under DAP, the seller is not responsible to unload the goods under Incoterms 2020 rules whereas under DDU, the costs and risks in unloading goods under the responsibility of Seller.
