What is SGST and CST? How does CST differ from SGST?
SGST means State Goods and Service Tax, a part of Goods and Service Tax (GST).
CST means Central Sales Tax which had to be payable at the time of sale of goods. However now, CST had been merged with VAT. Now, VAT is being merged with GST. Whereas GST which includes SGST is collected at the final stage of movement of goods at end user level.
