Seeks to amend Customs Tariff notifications No. 82/2017-Customs, dated the 27th October, 2017 so as to align them with amended Customs Tariff. 

The extract of CUSTOMS Notification No. 38/2019- CUSTOMS is given below:

New Delhi, the 30th December, 2019

 

G.S.R.        (E). - In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, on being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 82/2017-Customs, dated the 27th October, 2017, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, vide number G.S.R.1341 (E), dated the 27th of October, 2017, namely: -

 

 

In the said notification, in the Table, -

 

(i)             against serial number 231, in column (2), for the figures “62032900”, the figures “620329” shall be substituted;

 

(ii)             against serial number 232, in column (2), for the figures “62033100”, the figures “620331” shall be substituted;

 

(iii)             against serial number 237, in column (2), for the figures “62034200”, the figures “620342” shall be substituted;

 

(iv)             against serial number 244, in column (2), for the figures “62043100”, the figures “620431” shall be substituted;

 

(v)             against serial number 254, in column (2), for the figures “62046200”, the figures “620462” shall be substituted; 

 

(vi)             against serial number 257, in column (2), for the figures “62052000”, the figures “620520” shall be substituted;

 

(vii)             against serial number 262, in column (2), for the figures “62063000”, the figures “620630” shall be substituted; 

 

(viii)             against serial number 271, in column (2), for the figures “62082100”, the figures “620821” shall be substituted; 

 

(ix)             against serial number 274, in column (2), for the figures “62092000”, the figures “620920” shall be substituted;

 

(x)             against serial number 281, in column (2), for the figures “62113900”, the figures “621139” shall be substituted;

 

(xi)             against serial number 291, in column (2), for the figures “62151000”, the figures “621510” shall be substituted; 

 

  1. This notification shall come into force from 1st of January, 2020.
