As per GST Law 2017, there is no GST payable on Services by way of packing of rice.

Ashok shaw: Rice mill branded rice is under gst

Anokh: Sir, we purchase rice in bulk and get it packed in 10Kg bags from another unit. We pay packing charges to them. At present scenario, how the GST come into this?. We saw in this page that rice packaging attracts no GST. But our concern is that after packing in 10Kg bags, it came under branded category and taxable. Kindly Advice Anokh
