Sachin Dayaramani : I have a specific question regarding importing samples of wine. Currently I do not have a company registered but that won't take long. My dad could be my mentor and partner as he was in the same trade in Taiwan for over 20 years. However we are still trying to figure out a solution to this. My uncle wants to send me samples of wine bottles from overseas, about 6 bottles. Considering the nature of the product, what all do I need to have ready and what is the procedure that needs to be carried out for the same. From what I have heard, even carrying spirits in India which aren't commercially available yet could put one in trouble unless backed by some documents. Please enlighten us on the same. I would really appreciate.
