I am into freight forwarding business (Household goods on door to door basis). I have taken GST number for the headoffice. I have branch offices in other states with minimum staff. I have appointed agents in these states to provide me the services. My staff at the branch only supervise and coordinate the work. The agents raise their invoice and we make the payment to them. My question:- 1) Do I need to register my branch offices under GST? 2) What are the negatives if I don't register the branch offices? Also at times we deliver shipments to clients (since we provide DOOR to DOOR services) to other states in India. How do I handle this under GST? Thanks and Rgds

We are into import and export of equipment for the hearing screening and hearing diagnostic like Audiometers, BERA systems, Impedance Audiometers and OAE. All these devices are for the screening and diagnosis of hearing impaired people and should ideally come under the category of equipment for the disable import for which is duty free. But i think; it might have happened that they mentioned only the audiometers under this list for disables and not the other devices whereas the purpose of all these devices are same. So; i want to know 1. is the complete list of devices for hearing screening/diagnosis duty free or only the audiometers, 2. what are different HSN codes for these devices, 3. what would be the rate of duties on their accessories? Please help us

This Machinery is above 3 years old. Am I required to pay any GST or not and what documents should be attached along with transporting vehicle as per GST Act. We have capitalized the above assets in our Income tax returns and also claiming the depreciation regularly. We are registered GST dealers in both the states: Note: This machinery is only for execution of the work and not for consumption in the project and on completion of the said project we will withdraw the machinery.
