Raj Manchanda: Sir, Oil made Laundry soap made in Khadi & village industry pays only 5% VAT. Now in GST it will have to pay 18% GST. Where as synthetic detergents will come down from 24% to 18%. The Total difference will come to 13 + 6 =19%. There is NO chance for already struggling Khadi units to survive.
