Goods imported by Diplomatic missions in India and their families, their personal and household effects, etc
are exempted from import duties. This concession is given as per Customs notification 03/57 dated 08th January, 1957.
According to GST Law 2017, no IGST is payable on import of goods specified and terms under Customs notification 03/57 dated 08th January, 1957.
