Mihr: Hi Sir. Thank you for your selfless service unto those interested. Your articles are truly helping businessmen form the right mindset for succeeding. The thoughts generated by absorbing the essence of this knowledge can help anybody overcome obstacles in the profession. What are the documents required if I am importing scrap metal from a village trader in a neighboring country such as Nepal by road (assuming I am situated in India, which I am not)? I am thinking the exporter's cash sale, a police certification stating the goods are not stolen or of the sort and receipts showing payment of any duties, levies etc. would suffice? Payment is to be effected in importer's currency upon receipt of the goods, which the exporter will transport to my desired location.
