The value of goods is received from the overseas buyer by the exporter, as he is the ‘seller’ of goods. Also the accountability of exported goods by government of the exporter’s country is entrusted with the exporter. Exporter receives export order against goods to be exported. Shipper is a person or a company ships the goods, whose details are mentioned in the shipping documents. It can be an exporter who procures the goods or manufacturer of goods. The shipper need not be a registered exporter. The shipper can be a freight forwarder also who transfer the goods to main carriers for on carriage. Consignor is a person or a company who consigns the goods. The consignor also can be a seller who sells the goods in domestic market.
