How to differ DPU and EXW?
Delivery takes places at Buyer’s country under DPU whereas the delivery takes place at Seller’s country under EXW.
Pre carriage, main carriage, export clearance and on carriage to named place are taken care by buyer under EXW, but Seller under DPU terms.
Costs and risks ends when goods places at seller’s place at exporter’s country under EXW where as risks and costs of seller ends while unloading of goods at named place at buyer’s country under DPU.
The delivery takes place at seller’s named place before pre carriage under EXW where as delivery takes place in buyer’s country after unloading the goods at named place under DPU.
