Import Customs duty favored as per budget 2015-16 for inputs used in LED under HS code Chapter 85

Exemption on inputs used in LED under Indian Budget 2015-16As per Indian Budget 2015-16, the following customs import duty reductions have been declared under import of inputs used in LED.

Read below the extract of government notification, under Indian Union Budget 2015-16

" Special Additional Duty (SAD) is being exempted on all inputs for use in the manufacture of LED driver and MCPCB for LED lights and Fixtures & LED Lamps, subject to actual user condition. Notification No.21/2012-Customs, dated 17th March, 2012   as amended vide notification No.11/2015-Customs, dated 1st March, 2015 Notification No.11 of 2015-Central Excise, dt. 01-03-2015.pdf  [new S.No.14F] refers."
