In this post, the  Indian Trade Classification (ITC)  for  Cereals are mentioned which help you in exporting and importing of  Cereals from India. These codes help exporters and importers in India   to know product classification code to use various government and non government agencies in India.   Kindly note, ITC is an 8 digit  product classification code used in India only which is a modification of 6 digit HS code (also known as HTS Harmonized Tariff Schedule) used all over world.  To know better, please read my other articles –   What is HS code (Harmonized Tariff Schedule –HTS),  Difference between  HS code and  Indian Tariff Code ITC, Difference between Schedule B, HS code and ITC code.     HS code is the first six digit of ITC code.   If you need to export or import   Cereals from/to  India, the  customs department  and other government and non government agencies  of  India identify your product on the basis of  this eight digit Indian Trade Classification.  If you are importing  Cereals to India or exporting  Cereals from India,   the 8 digit Indian Tariff Code (ITC)  should be known to classify the product.  In other words, the export and import of  Cereals from/to India  are categorized product wise under the information mentioned here.     I hope, the information in this article helps you for smooth import or export of  Cereals from / to India.
