It would be great news for bio diesel manufacturers who are situated outside SEZs to source crude palm oil with Zero Import duties. It would benefit our environment and also help us be competetive in the market.

I read your article on net about reduction in Stearic acid import duty from 12.5% to 7.5% to NIL. May I know what will be the duty if we import from ASEAN countires under FORM AI. Our application of stearic acid is for PVC stabilizer. It seems current duty is 7.5% and if under AI form is there any further discount.
