Sethuraman: Sir, as per the LC terms 95% of the invoice value to be paid to Beneficiary and 5% to be paid as commission to a different company. In this case, we raise the invoice as 100% as per LC terms but we receive only 95%. The bank says they will write off the 5%, though we have submitted the proof of 5% remitted to a different entity as per the LC terms. How to convince the bank to give 100% BRC. We have not showed the commission 5% in our shipping bill. Please advise. thanks

Admin: It is mandatory to mention commission amount in Export shipping bill. However, you may approach your Authorized dealer bank to resolve your issue.
