What is GSTR 3 and GSTR 2 ? How does GSTR 2 differ from GSTR 3?

 

GSTR 2 is auto-populated from the GSTR-1s filed by way of the corresponding suppliers of the Taxpayer except for a few fields like imports, and purchases from unregistered suppliers, but GSTR 3 is monthly Statement of Inward supplies of Goods or Services under GST.

GSTR 2 has to be filed on 15th of the next month, whereas GSTR 3 has to be filed on 20th of the next month for previous period

 

A GST registered person has to file GSTR 2, while GSTR-3 is a GST registered person has to file GSTR 3.
