Two shipments, two destinations, Two different consignees - Can these shipments put together under one Airway Bill of Bill of Lading? How to club these shipments together pertaining to different importers, different destinations?
Two shipments of different buyers can be shipped to one location by a consolidator.
After reaching both shipments at destination customs location, the shipping carrier files Import General Manifest with the said customs location.
Both importers file necessary legal import customs clearance documents at the said location and complete procedures. Once after completion of necessary import customs formalities, both cargos are released out from the said customs location. The cargo pertaining to move to other location can be transported by road, rail or sea by separate movements. Once import customs clearance procedures completed under the said consignment at one customs location in the same country, no further legal import customs clearance procedures are not required to be completed.
